BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2002 Honda GL 1800 driven by Daniel L. Hawkins, 62, St. Joseph, was northbound on Interstate 29 five miles south of St. Joseph.
Hawkins lost control of the motorcycle. It overturned, began to skid, traveled off the west side of the road and came to rest in the median.
Buchanan County EMS transported Hawkins to Mosaic Life Care. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
