DAVIESS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 4a.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 28-year-old Hamilton man was northbound on MO 13 just north of east Mill Street in Gallatin.
The car crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2014 Ford Focus driven by a 36-year-old Trenton man. After impact, the Ford rotated counterclockwise, traveled off the road and struck a tree.
Daviess County ambulance transported the driver of the Ford to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The other driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, refused treatment at the scene, according to the MSHP.
