Justin Scott Ford, age 61, passed away on July 16, 2025. Born on April 23, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri, Justin was the beloved son of John Charles Ford Jr. and Ruth Evelyn (James) Ford-Pierce.
Justin was a proud graduate of Penney High School Class of 1982. He served his country with honor in the United States Army spending four years in service, including a tour in Korea where he was stationed near the DMZ ~ an experience he often spoke of with quiet pride.
Justin had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether horseback riding, casting a line in the water (especially the Grand River), or hunting game, he found joy and peace in nature. Above all, he was a proud father to Clayton (Taylor) Ford and Bailey (Brandon) Ford, and a devoted grandfather to Grace and Tymber.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Craig Ford; and sister, Sharla Kaye Licklider.
Justin is survived by his children and grandchildren; his sisters, Sheila (Joseph) Sternisha and Sharyl Pollard; grandchildren, Grace and Tymber Ford; Uncle Donald James; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 ~ 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Turner Family Funeral Home. A memorial service with military honors will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the funeral home, as we gather to celebrate the life of a man served proudly and will be missed dearly.
