Joseph Guthrie, 76, Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026.
He was born July 19, 1949 in Lawrence, Kansas, to Marvin and Gladys (Elston) Guthrie.
Joseph served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was an artist and enjoyed art history. He also enjoyed fishing and road trips. He was a rock hound.
He was preceded in death by his partner Judy A. Mortensen, and his former wife, Sharon L. Guthrie.
Survivors include his sons, Joseph Guthrie and David Guthrie.
