Members with Buchanan County's Drug Strike Force and Career Criminal Units, teaming with partners in Saint Joseph's Street Crimes Unit, the United States Marshal Service, NW Missouri Drug Task Force, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and MSHP's Relentless Pursuit, conducted a targeted arrest operation Friday.
21 felony arrest warrants were cleared, as well as new arrests for possession of methamphetamines, which were seized. As well, a total of eight firearms and body armor were seized from those wanted individuals. Information gathered also led to an additional search, resulting in additional drugs and illegal arms seized.
Per a release from Buchanan County Sheriff's Office, aspects of the operation are still under investigation, under Prosecuting Attorney Michelle Davidson.
All suspects are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
