Cynthia Lynn Hendrix 1960-2025

Cynthia Lynn Hendrix 64, of St. Joseph, Missouri,  passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. She was born August 25, 1960 in St. Joseph, daughter of Betty Dryden and Dustin Short. She attended Belton High School. She married Brad on February 7, 1999. Cynthia mainly worked with Brad on construction projects, along with many other things. She enjoyed fishing, camping, horse back riding, and just being outdoors with nature. She loved her family, they were her pride and joy through all the good and bad times, and she was a member of  Grace Calvary Chapel.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, and brother, Billy Dryden. Survivors include: her father, husband, Brad Hendrix of the home, daughters, Amanda (William) McBane and Jenny (Todd) Westcott, sons, Shane (Laurie) Shadwick and Shawn (Jordan) Shadwick, sisters, Barb (Ron) Harvey of Lone Jack, MO, and Lisa (Dan) Yardley of Wheatland, MO, brother, Michael (Trinity) Dryden of Milan, MO, step sons, Joey (Tearany) Hendrix, Jacob Hendrix, and Luke Hendrix, step daughter, Katie (Greg) Euker, grandchildren, Corbin, Gage, Issy, Gabby, Brooklyn, Ceveon, Kyaira, Abby, Hannah, Thia, Evelyn, Declan, Zane, Xavier, Baryn, Chelsea, Garrette, Olivia, Sydney, Brodie, Carsyn, Kamryn, Haidyn, Brayden, Madison, Rylee, Finley, Sophie, and Cora, and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services: 2:00 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, the Private Family Interment will follow.
