Clara Esther (Reeves) Henderson, born January 3, 1940 in Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri, died September 28, 2024 in her home.
She was born to Ermel Edward Reeves, Sr., and Matinza Eva (Maynard) Mackie.
She was the ever-loving wife of Leonard Henderson of 55 years, being together 56 years. Having one daughter, Sheila Henderson, together.
She worked at the St. Joseph, Missouri, Mental Hospital for 30 years before retiring due to health reasons.
She leaves behind her loving husband; 5 children; numerous grandchildren; brother, Dr. Delmar William “Bill” (Sharon) Reeves; niece, Ann Reeves; numerous nieces and nephews by marriage; and her faithful dog, Ellie.
She loved to argue politics with her oldest son Edward Mautino and loved her son Micah Henderson deeply.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Ermel Edward “Eddie” Reeves, Jr.; Arrah Elizabeth “Betty” Reeves Cooper; nephew, Scott Casdorph; grandson, Rodney Mautino; and a loving Nana, Carrie (Jones) Maynard.
