2 hospitalized after DeKalb County crash

DEKALB COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before noon Friday in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1991 Chrysler Lebaron driven by Dillon M. Pratt, 24, Trenton, was westbound on U.S. 36 at Baker Road five miles west of Cameron.

The Chrysler failed to yield and struck the towed unit of a westbound 2006 Peterbilt semi driven by Charles A. Gray, 69, Cameron, who was attempting to turn into a private drive.

Clinton-DeKalb ambulance transported Pratt and a passenger Elizabeth L. Bucklar, 24, Albany, to Mosaic Life Care. Gray was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
