ANDREW COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 4a.m. Saturday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder driven by a 35-year-old Council Bluffs, Iowa, woman was southbound on Interstate 29 two miles north of Country Club.
The SUV traveled off into the median, struck an emergency crossover, became airborne, rolled and the driver was ejected.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Heaton-Bowman-Smith Funeral Home in St. Joseph. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
