Floyd William Jeffers Sr., 71, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born on October 24, 1953, in St. Joseph, Missouri, he was the son of the late Frances and Andrew Jeffers. Floyd graduated from Lafayette High School in the class of 1972 and worked as a welder at Pasco Steel. He had a passion for crafts, fishing, collecting beer steins, and was an avid fan of the Chiefs.
Floyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sondra Rose Jeffers, his parents, his brother, Thomas Jeffers, and his granddaughter, Alexia Jeffers. He is survived by his sons, Floyd (Mandy) Jeffers Jr. of Stewartsville, MO, and Shannon Jeffers of St. Joseph, MO; his daughter, Amber Jeffers of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Lucas, Colby, Markos, Trenton, Hayle, Sheradin, Heaven, and Colleen; and his great-grandchild, Payton Jeffers.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
