Lloyd Eugene Taylor 67, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at a local health care facility. He was born August 12, 1956 in St. Joseph, son of Dorothy and Lloyd Taylor. He attended Helen Davis and Myrtle Miller Schools. He worked at Specialty Industries, where he retired after 41 years. He loved to exercise, especially riding his bike and running, and he was a junk food junkie. He was a member of the Special Olympics Track Team, and was very proud of his medals. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: siblings, Jenny McBride, Betsy Taylor, Patricia Taylor, Sally Taylor, and Charles Taylor, and his dear friend, Mary Jane Caples. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Rupp Funeral Home with Interment following at the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
