Donald "Bud" Jordan, 96, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
Donald was born September 8, 1927 to Lee and Marjorie (Daugherty) Jordan in Saxton, Missouri. Donald graduated from Agency High School in 1945. Following high school, Donald served in the United States Army. He married Beverly Miller on November 25, 1950 at St. Patrick's Church and together they raised four sons. Beverly passed away April 26, 1997.
Donald was a dairy farmer all of his life and a Mutual Insurance agent for Buchanan county for 27 years. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, MFA, Missouri Soil and Water District Boards and an avid pinochle player.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Beverly; brothers Hubert, Louis, and William Jordan and companion Lucille Knapp.
Survivors include sons David, Mark (Joannie), Keith, and Philip (Ellen) Jordan; grandchildren Stacey Jordan Cook (Clark), Scott Jordan (Heidi), Lee Jordan (Jessie), Lynn Wright (Matt), and Neil Alley (Dinelle); great grandchildren Dallas Kelly (Tyler), Jessica Cook and William Wright; great great grandchild Noah Jordan Kelly; sister Edith Cook; sister-in-law Charlene Jordan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday evening in our chapel. Celebration of Life 1:30 PM Saturday, November 18th at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
