An Iowa woman was seriously injured in an accident Tuesday evening on Interstate 29.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Sara F. Skalberg, 24, Shenandoah, Iowa, was southbound on I-29 13 miles south of Mound City when she attempted to change lanes and struck the back of a semi.
Skalberg was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of reported serious injured, the patrol said. The driver of the semi was not injured.
