ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations.
Just after 7:30a.m. Thursday police arrested 33-year-old Christopher B. Heston of Atchison in the 400 block Commercial on a District Court warrant charging him with theft and aggravated robbery and a District Court warrant charging him with theft, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Heston is charged with aggravated robbery by using force to take a cellphone from a 38-year-old male victim around 9:00PM on May 27th in the 1300 block South 8th and subsequently using a mobile pay app on the phone to commit theft.
He is also charged in a separate warrant for the theft of a cellphone from a 25-year-old female victim around 10:00PM on May 27th in the 100 block River Road. He remains in the Atchison County Jail.
