North Central Missouri College in Trenton is expanding their teacher education program to their Savannah campus starting this fall semester, providing area students with an affordable path to a career in education.
The Associate in Arts in Teaching is a transfer degree, designed for student to then take to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor's in education, and teacher certification.
Cassie Cordray, NCMC's Teacher Education Instructor, said "Schools throughout rural, northwest Missouri need passionate, well-prepared teachers, and we are excited to help students take the first steps toward a meaningful career where they can make a lasting difference."
