Ellison Elementary School in St. Joseph will move to remote learning on Friday, due to staff members testing positive for COVID-19.
Whether Ellison continues with off-campus learning depends on test results of staff members, according to the St. Joseph School District.
School officials say the move is being made in the best interest of students and staff. Classes will continue at Ellison, only remotely. Ellison staff will be reaching out to students and parents with the remote learning plan and expectations.
The St. Joseph School District states it will offer further communication about the status of Ellison Elementary later.
