BUCHANAN COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Saturday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Alexis L. Talbott, 20, St. Joseph, was merging from southbound Interstate 229 to southbound Interstate 29 south of St. Joseph.
The driver failed to negotiate the curve. The SUV traveled off the west side of the road, struck a sign and overturned onto its top.
Buchanan County EMS transported Talbott and passengers Javen T. Banks, 20 and Jyzzaiyah L. Bagsby, 21, both of St. Joseph to Mosaic Life Care. Banks was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
