Tina Sue (Lake) Zbierski, 51, passed away on August 22, 2023, surrounded by the warmth of her loving family. Born on October 19, 1971, in St. Joseph, MO, to Liz Russell (Ivan) and Michael Lake (Deana), Tina was a beacon of love and care throughout her life.
She completed her education from Benton High School in 1990 and embraced the joys of love as she married her soulmate, Harold Leo "J.R." Zbierski, Jr., on May 22, 1992. She was an inspiring mother to her children, Jay Zbierski (Kortnee), Guy Zbierski, and Tyson Hicks (Bree), and was a beloved grandmother to Camden, Creed, and Azariah.
Tina's siblings, including Missy Palmer (David), Randy Russell (Tina), Chad Russell (Jennie), and Angie Fuller (Chad), shared a special bond with her. She was known for being compassionate and specifically enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. One of her prime interests was taking care of her dear grandchildren, who were her heart's eternal joy. She’s also survived by mother-in-law, Fern Hill, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Loving – that is the word that best describes Tina. Everyone who knew her experienced her love, and her caring spirit was like a breath of fresh air in their lives. Tina didn't just live; she loved, and that love was her legacy. Endearing memories of her will forever remain in our hearts as we celebrate the life of Tina Sue Zbierski.
