Former Missouri Western State defensive lineman C.J. Ravenell is getting another shot with another team, after being claimed by the New York Giants from the Tennessee Titans.
Ravenell signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and spent the entire season on their practice squad. After being waived, he was claimed by Tennessee, where he played in 14 games with one start last year, finishing the season with six tackles and one forced fumble.
Ravenell appeared in 43 games during his six seasons at MoWest. He totaled 164 tackles, including 38 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one pass defensed and one blocked kick. He picked up All-MIAA honors in four of his seasons.
