White wins primary, wins Circuit Judge race

Buchanan County Drug Strike Force investigator Terry White has won the Republican primary for Circuit Judge, Circuit 5, Division 3, effectively winning the judgeship.

White defeated Andrew County Prosecutor Monica Morrey in the Republican primary Tuesday. No Democrat filed in the race.

White received 5,896 votes with Morrey receiving 4,915, according to unofficial tallies from both Buchanan and Andrew Counties.

White has spent 40 years in law enforcement. White works as an assistant prosecutor in Nodaway County and is the Tarkio Municipal Judge.
