BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30a.m. Thursday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2018 Freightliner utility truck driven by Jeffrey R. Tredway, 34, Plattsburg, was northbound on U.S. 169 at Schwader Road five miles north of Gower.
The truck rear-ended a 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Melissa D. Nauman, 42, Gower, that had come to a stop due to a deer in the road.
Tri-County ambulance transported Nauman to Mosaic Life Care. Tredway was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
