Shane Allen Smith 47, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born August 29, 1976 in St. Joseph, Missouri, son of Olga & Ron Smith.
He graduated from Benton High School class of 1995, and worked as a plumber for St. Joseph Plumbing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Shane is survived by his mother, Olga Smith, St. Joseph, MO, father, Ron Smith, Amazonia, MO, son, Aidan (Whitney) Smith, daughters, Ashlynn and Kortlynn Smith of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Cooper & Bellamy, brother, Justin (Heather) Smith, nephews, Chance & Owen, nieces, Sydney & Lila, paternal grandmother, Phyllis (Tom) Smith, as well several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Shane's life from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
