NODAWAY COUNTY—Two people avoided serious injured after a violent crash early Sunday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Lexus RX350 driven by Rhonda S. Wiederholt, 48, Maryville, was southbound on U.S. 71 at Wilcox.
The vehicle traveled off the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and rolled onto the passenger side.
Wiederholt and a 13-year-old female passenger were treated at the scene. The teen was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
