HOLT COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 12:30p.m. Wednesday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chevy Truck pulling a goose-neck trailer and driven by April L. Hawkins, 25, Edgerton, was northbound on Interstate 29 five miles south of Oregon.
The truck traveled through the median when the vehicle's front left tire blew. The pickup struck the crossover and the trailer became unhitched. Both the truck and trailer came to rest in the southbound lanes of the I-29.
Holt County EMS transported Hawkins to Mosaic Life Care. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
