David “Kip” Bartlett, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
He was born October 4, 1965 in St. Joseph to Peyton and Elizabeth (Brown) Bartlett. He grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Central High School in 1983.
Kip earned his bachelor’s degree in Business from Missouri State University, then embarked on a career selling steel pipe, mostly for Northwest Pipe Company. He also owned Bartlett Builders. Kip earned the 2008-09 Biltmore Who’s Who Award for his business leadership skills.
He was an animal lover who relished time spent with his dogs. He also enjoyed watching Chiefs games and following the financial markets.
The family will miss Kip’s frequent messages with words of wisdom for encouragement.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Hannah Houston (Cole); his son, Peyton Bartlett; sister, Jennifer Radmanesh (Abe); nieces, Allison Gronewold (Caleb) and Abigail Allen (Joe); and his great-niece, Elizabeth.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
