Michael R. Swope, beloved brother and friend, passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 71. Born on February 20, 1952, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Michael was a man of great strength and character.
Michael was an ardent sports enthusiast, relishing his time on the basketball court and bowling alley. He was a devout Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Vicki Worthwine (Gary) of Savannah, MO, and Gretchen Punzo of St. Joseph, MO, along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rosemary (Sanger) Swope.
