HOLT COUNTY —Four people were injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Saturday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 GMC SUV driven by Jared M. Dishong, 29, Falls City, NE., was southbound on U.S. 159 four miles east of Fortescue, Missouri.
The SUV changed lanes and began to overtake a 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by Nathan E. Hayes, 25, Craig, who had slowed to make a left turn. The SUV struck the drivers side cab of the semi.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported Dishong, and passengers in the SUV Chrystyna A. McClure, 38, and two 4-year-old girls to Community Medical Center in Falls City. Hayes was not injured. All five were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
