Dale Turner, of Weston, Missouri, was born on July 18, 1950, in Squires, Missouri, and passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and four sons.

Dale lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and steadfast faith. For 25 years, he worked as an aircraft tire inspector with Michelin Tire Company. After retiring, he continued working and caring for his beloved 40-acre farm for another 30 years.

He was faithfully married to his wife, Sharon Turner, for 55 years, building a life together centered on family, faith, and love.

An avid outdoorsman, Dale enjoyed pheasant hunting with his faithful four-legged companion, Sam, and shared his passion for fishing and marksmanship with his sons, extended family, and countless friends. He was a natural teacher whose knowledge and encouragement left a lasting impact on all who learned from him.

Dale was a devoted member of Beacon of Hope Pentecostal Church & Family Worship Center of St. Joe, Missouri, where his unwavering Christian faith guided every aspect of his life. Known as a mentor, counselor, and father figure, Dale extended his love and wisdom beyond his immediate family. Children of the church, whom he and Sharon lovingly “adopted” into their hearts, knew him as a grandfather, and he cherished them deeply.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sharon Turner; his sons, Douglas Nickles, Glen Turner, Lyn Turner, and Lawrence “Larry” (Kaitlin) Turner, and brothers, Paul (Ginger) Turner and Donis Turner; and his sister, Elois (Dave) Hancock. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and faith.

A man of family, faith, and integrity, Dale’s legacy will live on in the lessons he shared, the love he gave, and the lives he helped shape.
