Delena Kay (Arbuckle) Ferris, 70 of St. Joseph passed away April 7, 2025. Delena was born September 24, 1954, in St. Joseph to Homer Wesley and Edith Rachel (Decker) Arbuckle.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters Inga, Connie, Betty.
Survivors are her children, Shelly Shannon (J.K.); David Ferris (Ashley) eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Rev. Rex Arbuckle (Tina); sisters Teresa Smith and Twila Winsor; several nieces and nephews.
Delena enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of her yard and flowers. She enjoyed music, country, rock and roll, and gospel and loved going to garage sales.
Services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, 11:00 am at The Pentecostals of St. Joseph, 1701 Jules Street, St. Joseph, MO. Private interment at King Hill Cemetery on Sunday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
