Our beloved Kyrstin was taken from us at the age of 27. She fought with a tremendously strong heart until her Heavenly Father called her home on March 17, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends. Even in her passing, Kyrstin continued to give; as an organ donor, she saved many lives.
Kyrstin was an extremely beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, on January 17, 1999, she touched our hearts immediately and made a lasting impact during her time on earth. She was a hard worker and a loyal, kind, and giving person to all who knew her.
Kyrstin’s father was her best friend, and she was truly a "daddy’s girl." They shared a love for football—even though she was a Broncos fan—and enjoyed attending KU games together. One of her greatest joys was becoming an aunt to her nephew, Michael Lee, whom she cherished and worshipped as his "Aunt TT." We know she will continue to walk with him and keep him safe.
She is survived by her loving parents, Thad and Lynda Lickhart; her siblings, Lyndsey Lickhart and Hayden Lickhart; her halfbrothers, Colby and Kevin Cruz; her grandmother, Polly Lickhart; her beloved nephew, Michael Lee Lickhart; nephew Kaden, nieces Ensley, and Khloe many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kyrstin was preceded in death by her, maternal grand parents, paternal grandfather, and uncles.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We invite you to join us in a celebration of her life. Kyrstin would want everyone to be comfortable, so we ask that you wear jeans and bright colors rather than traditional mourning attire. She would wish for joy and laughter as we remember her.
We take great comfort in knowing that she will always be with us, continuing to fight for the weak and working from heaven to make the world a better place for all children.
Celebration of Life for Kyrstin will be Friday, March 27, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph, MO. Visitation will precede the Celebration of Life beginning at 4:00 pm.
