Janie Sue Lent, 71, of Skidmore, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at a Mound City, MO care facility. She was born April 3, 1953 in Rosendale, MO, daughter of Naoko and Aceph Stinnett. Janie graduated from Nodaway Holt High School, class of 1971. She worked at Energizer for many years. Janie enjoyed hunting for artifacts and rocks. She also enjoyed painting and a good conversation. Janie was preceded in death by her parents whom raised her, Aceph and JoAnn Stinnett, mother, Naoko Monguchi, siblings, Danny Stinnett, Sandra Gillenwater, Debbie Teegarden, and Bob Perry. Survivors include: son, Jason Lent of St. Joseph, daughter, Rhonda Lent of Skidmore, siblings, Terry Stinnett, Scott Spillman, Gail McMurray, and Nita Poppa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ms. Lent has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home.
