DAVIESS COUNTY—A Missouri teen was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Friday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Chevy 1500 driven by a 16-year-old Jamesport girl was westbound on MO 6 one mile east of Gallatin.
The brakes on the pickup failed. The pickup traveled through a 4-way intersection, off the road, down an embankment, overturned and struck a utility pole.
Daviess County ambulance transported the teen to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
