The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds drew huge crowds to the Sound and Speed Airshow at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph this weekend.

The Sound of Speed Airshow released a total of 31,000 general admission tickets for this weekends airshow.

Airport General Manager Abe Forney says 30,000 general admission tickets were originally released for Saturday and Sunday, however the airport saw a need to release an additional 1,000 tickets for Sunday so all who wanted to attend had the opportunity.

Both ticket days released all of the general admission tickets available to the public. General admission tickets were issued for free.

The airshow also sold Flight Line Club and Premium Boxes to the show.
