Missouri Western men's golf coach Greg Dillon announced the signing of St. Joseph Central's Daniel Love for his 2021 recruiting class Wednesday.
Love is getting set to compete this spring in his senior season at Central after having the 2020 season canceled due to COVID-19.
Love has already earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District honors in his varsity career. He's also been named the Missouri Junior Tour Player of the Year and has five career Missouri Junior wins.
"I chose MWSU because the team has extremely focused and determined guys with the ability to do great things," Love said. "The great business department paired with the team will help me achieve great success on and off the course. I'm the third generation of my family to attend MWSU and it feels like home to me."
Love is the third member of Coach Dillon's 2021 men's recruiting class, and the second one from St. Joseph.
He joins Jeffrey Johnston from Bishop LeBlond High School and Brooks Baldwin from Warrensburg High School.
