It's spooky season around St. Joseph as we enter October, and the St. Joseph Public Library is starting it off right.

Angela Bonkoski with the library has worked with a local librarian, who also happens to be a famed ghost hunter, to set up a virtual experience to talk about her time at what is known as one of the most haunted places in America.

"I have a guest speaker named Becky Ray, she's out of the Kansas City area, she's been doing paranormal investigations a really long time, and she's also a librarian down there," Bonkoski tells KFEQ/St. Joseph Post. "But she has done investigation at the Waverly Hills."

Bonkoski has worked with Ray to talk about her experiences at the Waverly Hills Sanatorium.

"She's just gonna come on and do a presentation, give us a little bit of the history, and maybe some evidence," Bonksoski says. "And I know she had a pretty interesting experience there."

The Waverly Hills Sanatorium is located in Kentucky and is touted as one of the most haunted locations in America.
