BROWN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before midnight Sunday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Martin D. Elmore, 55, Bellevue, Nebraska, was northbound on U.S. 75 just north of 130th Street.
The motorcycle struck the side of 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Andrew T. Gerstner, 51, Topeka, who was entering U.S. 75 from the east and failed to yield to the motorcycle.
EMS transported Elmore to the hospital in Holton. Gerstner and a passenger in the car were not injured. Elmore was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
