Charles L. Bowles, Jr., 95, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
He was born June 22, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Charles Lewis Bowles, Sr. and Mertie (Rich) Bowles.
Charles married Frances J. Poage on December 12, 1958. She preceded him in death on November 21, 2024.
Charles was a loving father, husband, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; his parents; son, Randall Lee Bowles; and a sister.
Survivors include his sons, Dennis (Sandra) and Steven (Terri) Bowles; daughter-in-law, Margaret Bowles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
