Shauntae Marie Gatewood, 44, Easton, Kansas, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023.
She was born on January 9, 1979, in Winchester, Kansas to Twilia Gatewood.
She worked as a restaurant manager for Sonic in Olathe, Kansas for many years. Shauntae was a talented cook and used her culinary talents in her career.
Shauntae enjoyed gardening and decorating her yard with beautiful flowers. She was a fashionista and always well dressed. Shauntae also had a love for arts and crafts.
She had many friends who all loved her dearly, and they will continue to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Arthur Gatewood; uncle, Shelby Gatewood; and cousin, Daryl Gatewood.
Survivors include her significant other of 15 years, Terry Haddock; mother, Twilia Gatewood; grandmother, Joy Gatewood; brother, Christopher Dale; sister, Kristin Gatewood; aunts, Brenda Gatewood, Phyllis Gatewood and Linda Dibbern (Richard); uncle, Jim Gatewood; her beloved sons, Austin Reed, Dylan Diffley, Oliver Reed, Andy Gatewood, Anthony Salazar, and Zander Salazar; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
