CLINTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Friday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Econoline van driven by Diego Hernandez-Bustos, 53, Mounds View, Minnesota was northbound on Interstate 35 three miles south of Cameron.
The vehicle began sliding on the ice covered road. The van and its towed unit jackknifed, traveled off the west side of the road, overturned in the median and came to rest on its top.
Cameron EMS transported a passenger Maria Lopez-Hernendez to Liberty Hospital. The driver was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
