Cheryl Kay (Bookout) Fry, 66, of Atchison, Kansas died May 15, 2024, at KU Medical in Kansas City, Kansas.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00-4:00PM, June 8, 2024, at Warnock Lake, Atchison, Kansas. Cheryl has been cremated under the direct care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, Kansas. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com
Cheryl was born April 17, 1958, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Ethel (Jenkins) Bookout. She enjoyed playing computer games, reading, music, spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the VFW auxiliary. Her sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Amos, son, Shane Lurquin (Nicole Powell), three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters, Kathy Jones, and Carolyn Tipton. She is preceded by her parents, brother, William “Dub” Wells, and sister, Janice Gardner.
