Violet Nicole Lynn formerly known as Brett Alan Spilman, 26, of Hays, KS was found on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, passed away in her apartment in Hays, KS.
Memorial services will be 7:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 26th, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Watkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Atchison High School Show Choir or to help with final expenses. She was born on November 12, 1997, to Brian (Jenny) Spilman and Karen (Chris) Underwood. She graduated from Atchison High School in 2015 and was active in the Atchison High School Show Choir and Theatre attending Highland Community College following high school. Violet was a photographer and enjoyed entertaining people and having inclusive parties. Playing the piano, watching movies and short films. She especially enjoyed spending time with the nieces and nephews and taking photos of them.
Survivors include parents Brian (Jenny) Spilman, Mt. Dora, FL, and Karen (Chris) Underwood, Atchison, KS, brothers Tyler (Lindsey) Thompson, Atchison, KS, Brian A. Spilman, Jr., Atchison, KS, Tucker Bieber, Lansing, KS, sisters Paige Liggett, KC, MO, and Samantha Spilman, Atchison, KS, nieces and nephews Adrianne, Tyler, Ryder, Lincoln, Isaiah, Marcus, Mylo, Millie, Kattie, and Brian III. Her grandparents preceded her in death.
