ATCHISON COUNTY, Kan. —A St. Joseph man was involved in an accident just before 7p.m. Tuesday in Atchison.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Thad Jenkins, 52, St. Joseph, was eastbound on U.S. 59 at 5th Street, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The motorcycle rear-ended a Ford Fusion driven by Samantha Roles, 33, Atchison, as it was turning south onto 5th Street.
EMS and Fire responded to the scene and examined Jenkins who had an injured shoulder. He was not transported for treatment, according to Wilson.
