ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Friday in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner driven by a 58-year-old Hamburg, Iowa, man was northbound on U.S. 275 at Route CC. The vehicle began skidding on the snow covered road. The SUV traveled off the north side of the road, struck a fence, continued into a field and rolled onto its top.
EMS transported the driver and a 49-year-old female passenger to Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg. They were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
