Shirley Ann Rhoades, 83, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
She was born June 3, 1940 in Auburn, Nebraska, to Hubert and Mabel (Dixon) Cacy.
Shirley married James Arthur Rhoades on September 29, 1958. He survives of the home.
She was a devoted homemaker and helped run the family clock repair business, Rhoades Tik-Tok, for 45 years.
Shirley loved to cook and enjoyed hosting big family dinners, where her apple pie was a favorite for everyone. She also loved to go RVing with the family to national parks all across the country.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Beverly, Bobby Rex and Harold Lee.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James; sons, James A. Rhoades II and Alan Rhoades; granddaughter, Robyn Rhoades; and sister, Jackie Sue.
