Monday, August 5th, Tom Mooney went to spend Eternity with those who left before him. He will be greeted by his parents, Kennard and Gerry Mooney, his wife, Patty Deloris (Nocks) Mooney, and three of their four children; Terri, who died as an infant, Paula in 2021, and Tom Jr. in 2023. It will be a joyous reunion.
Tom is survived by children Timmy and Michael Mooney, Christopher and Nicholas Munden, and Tara Nicholson. He leaves behind one brother, Kenny Mooney; three sisters, Janice (Gary) Strueby, Patricia Westcott, and Barbara Mooney; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Tom lived a simple life, working most all of his life for one company in St. Joseph, which changed its name a few times, the last name being "Express Pet Foods".
He was a hard worker with a good work ethic, always trying to do right for his family. He was loved by his family and friends who will all miss him immensely.
The family will gather with friends from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M., Saturday, August 17, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
