A fleeing suspect has been taken into custody after causing a three-vehicle crash late Tuesday night in which a St. Joseph police officer suffered minor injuries.
The St. Joseph Police Department reports the suspect was fleeing police when he crashed into a vehicle, causing the three-car wreck at 28th and Pear. Officers took the fleeing subject into custody. The officer involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and has been treated. The suspect also suffered minor injuries.
The St. Joseph Police Department, the St. Joseph Fire Department, and Buchanan County EMS all responded to the scene of the crash.
