St. Joseph police are investigating a suspicious death after a
body was found in the 2500 block of South 13th Street late Sunday night.

The St. Joseph Police Department reports officers were called
to the area on a disturbance call around 11 o’clock that later was discovered
to be unfounded. But, officers were then directed to the body of a man found on
the ground in the area. The deceased is described as a while male, likely in
his 40s.

No cause of death has been determined as of yet.

Officers interviewed two people at the police station. Both
were released.
