St. Joseph police are investigating a shooting in which a St. Joseph man suffered a non-life-threatening wound.
Police say they received multiple calls around 7:30 Tuesday night about shots being fired in the area of 9th and Powell. Officers found 55-year-old Jeff Epps of St. Joseph wounded from a gunshot. Epps was treated and released from the local hospital. Investigators have information on a suspect, but no one has been arrested at this time.
