
ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on new charges after a five arrests over the past 15 months.
On Friday, police arrested David S. Marlar, 24, Leavenworth, on a District Court detain order for probation violation and a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in court, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
On January 6, Marlar was jailed for aggravated failure to appear and in October for a bond violation, according to online jail records.
In January of 2021, police arrested Marlar for flee, attempted to elude law enforcement, meth possession, reckless driving and driving while suspended. In November 2020, he was accused of battery, assault, criminal carrying a weapon and criminal damage to property, according to online jail records.
