The St. Joseph Health Department has suspended all services today due to a water line break and subsequent flooding at Patee Market.
Services impacted by the closure include WIC, pregnancy testing and case management, TB services, immunization services, lead poison prevention services, HIV/STD testing, vital statistics (including issuance of Missouri birth and death certificates), health education and environmental services.
The Social Welfare Board is not impacted by this closure. The plan is for the clinic to re-open tomorrow, Wednesday December 28th, however you should call the clinic before coming it because it is unknown how long cleanup will take and what equipment has been affected by the flooding.
